Venom Concept
The British Charter industry faces challenging
times and has become a victim of it’s own success.
The boats have got bigger, more powerful, faster
and therefore more expensive to build and operate. The threat of legislation
from all angles is ever present, fuel costs are continually rising, the
environment we work in is the only stable aspect because as we know that can do
anything and yields no surprises.
Venom offers a fresh approach and keeps your
investment to an absolute minimum.
We can do this due to our no frills, essentials
only approach.
No glossy brochures, no lunches down the pub and
no offers of extras just to get the sale only to let you down later when we run
out of time.
Due to our expertise in project management we
know exactly what each boat costs to lay up and the time involved. We won’t take
time out to custom build and as each boat leaves the mould the next one goes in
therefore mould preparation is kept to a minimum. All customer contact will be
through our Weymouth office, leaving the factory to operate the production line
to the full with absolutely no variation other than colour, even Henry Ford
wouldn’t do that!
How to
order your new Venom
Your initial outlay will be one thousand pounds,
which goes in to a deposit account and not the company’s working account. This
gives you your build slot and there is nothing more to pay until you see and
accept the hull. If you are unhappy with what you see you can either have your
money back or wait for another build slot.
Home Completion
Once you have your Venom back home Weymouth
Offshore will always be at the end of the phone should you need advice. A
section of this website is devoted to pictures, diagrams and and build
information. You can build your Venom as fast or slowly
as you like and you are in control of your business’s biggest asset, the boat.
You will never have sleepless nights wondering if your investment is safe in the
boatyard.
Sea Trials
Once in the water you will have a modern stylish
vessel which will offer your customers a smooth ride at an economical speed and
your investment will have been kept to a minimum.
No it won’t be the fastest boat around and no it
won’t be a catamaran but Venom offers a realistic way for skippers to stay in
business and for the young and up and coming to have a chance of ever getting on
the water. Diving and angling charter is moving in to uncharted waters as some
of the more established skippers retire from what is a relatively new industry
or find that the race to bigger, faster and more expensive is just not
sustainable.
When we first thought of Venom we imagined a
twenty year old, newly qualified skipper about to get married, take on a
mortgage and earn a living. If the industry is to survive they have to be able
to get on the ladder.
Equally the more established charter business needs to find a way to keep up
with change that doesn't require more capital outlay,
Venom is the ultimate all round solution.
